Mark - 17 year old who lost both parents at age 14 at the hands of two Elites. Trying to take care of his younger brother Samuel. Hates the Elites, but has a few friends from the middle class.

Jamie - Mark's first friend outside of the Lower class. Makes sure Mark and Samuel have enough food and supplies by smuggling it to them when needed. Best friends with Kevin before the system started 5 years ago.

Felix - Not much is known about him. Keeps on running into Samuel wherever he goes.

Jackson - The 17 year old crown prince. Absolutely hates royal life and sneaks out dressed as a Common or Lower whenever he can.

Kevin - Jamie's best friend before the system started 5 years ago and they were separated. Now works as a government official for the royal family.

Amber - Literally knows everyone and everything. Prefers to live a simple life and doesn't flaunt her status. Looked down upon by some older officials for always being with Commons and Lowers.
